Tube Commute ("the Extension") is a browser extension that shows live London commute information using the Transport for London (TfL) Open API. This policy explains what data the Extension handles.

Summary

Data stored on your device

The Extension uses chrome.storage.local (or the equivalent in Microsoft Edge) to save:

This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the Extension or clear extension storage in your browser settings.

Data sent over the network

When you use the Extension, your browser makes HTTPS requests directly to the TfL Unified API to retrieve station search results, live arrivals, line status, and journey-planning information. Those requests may include station identifiers related to the routes you have configured.

We do not receive or store these requests on our own servers. TfL's handling of API traffic is governed by TfL's terms.

Permissions

Analytics and tracking

The Extension does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children

The Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
